It certainly has been a while since my last post. So much has changed this few months. You can call it a complete 360! So much has happend, But where to start.....
I have been engaged for 2 months now to Mr. Sagean Daw. It's crazy how we are so much alike. Our parents say its like having two Sagean's or two Kylee's around. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing...haha jk. If quoting lines from the office, movies, and acting like total spaz's together is wrong...I totally don't want to be right! haha. I'm glad I'm not the only one who says "Thats What She Said," to other people. I think that is what won me over....
I love him! Can't wait to spend my life with that spaz of mine! :)
If all of you didn't know, we didn't date that long before we got engaged. I know, typical mormon engagements. Funny thing is, i always told myself i wouldn't i wouldn't rush to fast...but it is definitely true when people say, "When you know, You Know..." I totally agree with that. I wouldn't call my situation rushed, but finally finding the one i want to spend the rest of my life with. Someone I can grow old with, and hopefully still quote office lines with...
The Proposal:
He proposed to me March 11, 2001. During that day, I was busy cleaning my house and helping babysit my little cousins. Sagean told me we were going to go to dinner and movie. So i cleaned up, got ready and waited for him to come and pick me up. He told me had to run to idaho falls with his mom and help with somethings. So he showed up at my house, we chilled for a little before we headed to "dinner and a movie." He told me he had to go pick up somethings for his mom at her work. His mom works at Snake River Middle School. (Sidenote, on our way to the school, Sagean had the parking break on the whole time! and i kept wondering why my car was acting weird...) When we got there, he told me when we get into his moms classroom, we couldn't look on the right side cause apparently student files were out in the open. Smooth huh? On the right side of the room there was a wall that blocked the other side of it. He stopped me before we turned to the right side of the room and said, I love you kylee. Me, being totally oblivious and not knowing what was in store for me, said i love you too. We turned, and there was tons of balloons, and flowers! Then I see my cousin heather and Kayla Evans, pop out of no where and start taking pictures! Sagean then got down on one knee and asked "Will You Marry Me?" I started freaking out and said oh my gosh a lot! I don't know how many times i said that before i said YES! haha. On the whiteboard it also said Will you marry me and had a check yes, no, or maybe box. I went with the no....jk. Pretty obvious I checked the yes box! We then tooks some pictures, got all of the ballons and flowers together, and headed back to my house. When we got there, my mom and taylor came running and screaming towards me. They knew about this little surprise the whole time! Tay came running towards me with excitement and almost broke my nose. Haha. We then went to Texas Roadhouse with both of our parents, taylor, and tyler (tay's boyfriend.) That day will be a day I will always remember. That, and my wedding day! :)
A couple weeks after that, I went with him and his family to Phoenix, AZ. It was a blast! We went to a couple NCAA Basketball games, shopping, and horse races! It was a blast! I love my new family too!
Sagean is done with school this semester. He just barely took his finals. He got accepted into the nursing program in Twin Falls. I'm so proud of him! We will be moving back here pretty soon, but for now, we are chillen in Blackfoot. Gotta love B-town!
